Phil has served for many years as a counselor and has been involved in many recovery and support groups. Phil started the first recovery groups at Heritage many years ago with just a handful of people. In 2004 Phil joined the church pastoral staff overseeing all the recovery groups, pastoral counseling and mentoring.  

    Phil struggled for many years with addictions and strongholds of his own. In his quest for freedom from the bondage, he has learned how surrendering all to God is the key to healing. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in overcoming addictions and strongholds to the Counseling and Recovery Ministry at Heritage.

    Phil and his wife, Theresa, began attending Heritage in 1997. Phil & Theresa were married in 1998 and together they have 6 children, and 7 grandchildren.
