Equip: Community Group Worship Leading 101
Gary Rea will be teaching an Equip class on Tuesday, Feb 7, from 7 - 9 pm on how to lead worship in a small group setting. Blood Drive for FACT Alliance
By donating one pint of blood you can help fight against child trafficking in the Philippines. Heritage is hosting a FACT (Fight Against Child Trafficking) Alliance blood drive on Feb 12 from 9 am – 2 pm. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go towards the building of a safe house, or Round Home, in the Philippines for victims of the commercial sex trade. Each pint of blood contributes $20 towards this cause, with a goal of raising $5,000. You can participate either by donating blood, sponsoring a donor, or simply writing a check. Equip: New Believers Class
This two week class is designed to help people get an understanding of what it means to follow Jesus and how to grow in the Christian faith. Classes will take place at 7 pm on Feb 28 and March 6 at Heritage. We will cover topics such as how to read the Bible and how to pray, with a lot of time devoted to Q&A. If you are a new believer or if you have a desire to learn about foundational Biblical teachings, this free class is for you.
